The Salvadoran urban singer Less, as many already know her, or Less Sajorí, now with her new complement in her artistic name, brings us a new musical proposal for 2022. Although always with BR Music Medellín, Nowadays she surprises us with new fusions of rhythms, among cumbia, hip hop pop and a fusion with the traditional dembow of reggaeton and also sounds with Arabic influences.
In addition, talking about her lyrics, there has been an important evolution, these will now be more focused and will give more importance to female empowerment, sorority among women, gender equality and non-discrimination for the LGBTQ+ community, which has been a very important bastion for Less’s career recently months ago.
According to the singer, her first single with this new Colombian record label was released last October 2021 ‘’Bucle’’ and was a single with a different lyric and can be listened to on all digital stores. Starting this 2022 ‘’Pretendientes’’ will be released this coming may and will be focused on women, but not from a submission point of view, instead, from a self-confidence and security point of view. In herself, Sajorí relates that the center of this new single lies in the non-dependence on a man, and like women, they can be happy, enjoy and can easily develop in a ‘’macho’’ environment without the need of a man next to them. According to the author of “Pretendientes”, the chorus of her song states that women “No dependen de un gato, para salir a bailar reggaetón y darle duro al ritmo del bajo’’ so explains, they do not depend on a man to go out and dance reggaeton and hit the bass rhythm hard. According to Less, the song is practically done and it only remains to record a couple of final shots for the video clip that is being produced by La Dosis Inc.
