As someone with extremely sensitive teeth and gums, I have always been hesitant to try at-home teeth whitening kits. Most of them contain harsh abrasives that can irritate my mouth and make my teeth even more sensitive. So when I heard about Mysmile’s Unique Non-Sensitive Teeth Whitening Formula, I was intrigued.
I decided to try the kit, and I am extremely happy with the results. The first thing that stood out to me about this product was that it contains 22% Carbamide Peroxide, a gentler alternative to the hydrogen peroxide found in many other whitening products. I also appreciated that it was free of harsh abrasives like silica, which can be damaging to tooth enamel and cause sensitivity.
The kit was very easy to use. I applied the teeth whitening gel each day using the convenient pen applicators and then placed the mouth tray over my teeth. The LED accelerator light helped speed up the process, and I could feel the gel working to break down any intrinsic stains on my teeth. The mouth tray was a bit bulky and took some getting used to, but it fits comfortably in my mouth and stayed in place while I used the product.
One thing that I really liked about Mysmile’s Unique Non-Sensitive Teeth Whitening Formula was the fact that it came with three gel pen applicators. This meant that I had enough gel for three weeks of treatments, which was great because I was able to spread out the treatments and not have to worry about running out of product.
I also appreciated the inclusion of the LED accelerator light and the mouth tray. These two components seemed to really help speed up the whitening process and made it more effective. The light worked by breaking down the gel and helping it penetrate deeper into the teeth, while the tray held the gel in place and allowed it to work on all surfaces of the teeth.
I used the product for about an hour a day for a week, and by the end, I could see a difference in the brightness of my teeth. They were several shades lighter and looked much healthier and brighter.
The product comes with a shade guide to help you track your progress, but it was a little difficult to get an accurate reading on my own. I suggest having someone else look at the guide and compare it to your teeth to get a better idea of your results. However, this is a minor issue relevant to the product’s overall effectiveness.
As someone who has struggled with sensitive teeth and gums my whole life, I was pleasantly surprised by how gentle Mysmile’s Unique Non-Sensitive Teeth Whitening Formula was on my mouth. I didn’t experience any sensitivity or irritation during the process, and my teeth are significantly brighter. I recommend this product to anyone with sensitive teeth and gums looking to whiten their teeth at home.
